Dorm Room Tour
So, my room is technically still a work-in-progress, but I thought it was about time to give you guys a peek! To be quite honest, I don't spend much time in my room, because I go home every weekend (long story, will explain later), so I just did my best to do the bare minimum to make my dorm feel as home-y as possible. I stepped out of my comfort zone a little and opted to go with some pinks and brighter colors, and stray away from my usual neutrals/dark tones. My entire room at home is green and beige with wicker furniture, so this is definitely different to say the least. (I didn't put pictures of my closet although I do have one! It's walk-in and is definitely amazing to have as a freshman)
My favorite pieces in my room, is definitely the cute monogram tray c/o Monogram Shop Houston. I use the little ottoman as a night table and the tray keeps everything from my phone, keys, earrings, and even lip balm. MSH sent it to me before I got to SJU and it's been a savior. I'm all about staying organized, and I can't even tell you how great it is. If you are anything like me and stick everything on your nightstand before bed and then wake up and can't find anything because it may have fallen off or whatever, then you need this tray. The pinched edges are also perfect because you can put your phone while its plugged in and feed the charger through the edge!
My mom got my bedding from Tommy Hilfiger, and the navy/white striped pillow from Home Goods. The knitted pillow my grandma actually made for me this past summer when she was here for the summer from Russia! The instagram photos on my cork and ribbon banner are from Sticky 9.
A lot of my desk pieces, like the tea tray, whale jewelry box, anchor pillow, etc are from Target.
If you're wondering where anything else is from just ask! I'm happy to share :) (BTW T-Swift poster courtesy of Cam)
I hope you guys like it, and let me know if you have any questions or suggestions on how I can fill up some more space!
